Nevis Nightlife
Nevis is one Caribbean destination where nightlife is mainly on the quiet side; unlike many places in the West Indies, Nevis has no casinos, few discos, and is not known for loud parties.
However, there are special events such as Culturama, in late July and early August, which includes music and dancing until the wee hours, and there are also lively celebrations at Christmas and Easter. But people do not really come to Nevis for the nightlife. That said, there are a few places to go and things to do on a regular basis:
Four Seasons almost always has a band playing down by the Cabana and, as long as they aren't running full, anyone can go. If you get there and they are full, walk down the beach to either Sunshine's Bar for Killer Bees, or keep walking to Chevy's for a Stinger. They have Dinner & Karaoke Fun every Monday from 6.30pm, and "Reggae Nights" every Sunday with a local DJ.
In Charlestown, locals may be hanging out by Night Moves where you will be welcome. V's Courtyard is open on Friday and Saturday nights featuring Live Bands and DJ's. Eddy's, upstairs on the main square of Charlestown, has a Happy Hour on Wednesday nights which becomes a celebration lasting many hours.
There are also Thursday night beach BBQs with live music at Nisbet Plantation, pig roasts at The Hermitage, and a steel drum band some evenings at Oualie Beach Hotel. Golden Rock has a string band some evenings on Saturdays. If you wish to attend any of these events at the hotels, please do call and confirm first, as they are not always available, and even when they are available, space is limited.
Maybe instead you prefer a quiet and beautiful "nightlife"? Why not? This can include strolling on the beach, stargazing by a campfire, or even going to look for Sea Turtles, which frequently nest on Nevis beaches
